A mobile home is a total loss after it caught fire Monday evening.
Crews with the Scott Fire Department responded to the scene at 8:18 p.m. in the 1100 block of Roper Road, inside of the Shiloh Mobile Home Park.
Fire Chief Chad Sonnier tells News 10 the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames and threatening nearby homes when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control, leaving the nearby homes with minimal damage.
The Chief says no on was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported as a result of it.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
