Stephensville Elementary will be closed Tuesday, May 14, 2019 Superintendent Allen Blanchard has announced.

Blanchard said the closure is due to the weekend flooding in the area.

All other schools in the parish are opened Tuesday.

Beginning on Friday and through Sunday morning, heavy rains caused flooding in parts of lower St. Martin Parish that resulted in some roads being inundated with water.
