Opelousas Police are investigating the theft of a political sign early Thursday morning.

Police say a vehicle drive up to a lot in the 500 block of Pulford Street, took a political sign belonging to Mayor Candidate Tyrone Glover and drove away.

Glover did not authorize this which constitutes it as theft, according to police.
