UPDATE: The children have been located and have been referred to juvenile court, police said.
ORIGINAL: Opelousas Police are searching for two juveniles believed to have runaway from their homes.
Major Mark Guidry says on Monday, February 11 at approximately 11 p.m., officers received a complaint from the mother of Jaylon Guillory, 11, who said her son had not returned home and was last seen around 11 a.m. that morning.
It is unclear exactly what Guillory was wearing when he left home.
Guidry says it was reported that Guillory has a history of leaving home without consent for extended periods of time.
Meanwhile, on February 12, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Opelousas Police received a similar complaint from the mother of Caelen Voss, 15, who state her son had not returned home from school.
Guidry says Voss was last seen wearing a school uniform when he left home.
It was reported that Voss also has a history of leaving home without consent for extended periods of time.
