LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Lafayette Police are investigating the theft of over $2,000 in athletic equipment from Comeaux High School.
Public information officer Karl Ratcliff said officers responded to a report of a burglary at the school around 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
The suspect or suspects entered a locker room and stole several pieces of athletic equipment, according to investigators.
Ratcliff said investigators do not have any suspects at this time.
Police are also investigating a second burglary that happened at the school on October 3, 2016.
In the previous incident two suspects allegedly broke into a classroom and stole over $1,300 in computer equipment.
