Tomorrow, parents in Acadiana can take advantage of free child safety seat inspections.

As part of National Safety Week, Seat Check Saturday is being organized through the Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force and University Medical Center New Orleans.

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to Noon in the parking lot of the old Babies-R-Us store located on Johnston Street in Lafayette.

As research shows, over 92% of car seats are installed incorrectly in the state.

There will be certified technicians will be on site to ensure proper installation.
