New information tonight on the parents of the once missing Evangeline Parish boy.
According to the Evangeline Parish Jail intake and booking, Paul and Minette Thibodeaux have been released from jail after posting bail which was set at $35,000 each.
To be released, the Thibodeaux’s paid 12 percent of that amount by using a bondsman, jail officials said.
A bond assures the court that both defendants will appear before a judge to plead to the charge of cruelty to juveniles.
A court date has been set for January 17, according to jail officials.
The 13th judicial district judges are Judge Gary Ortego and Judge Chuck West.
9 year old Bryson went missing from Evangeline Parish Friday afternoon.
Multiple agencies including the FBI, Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office and State Police searched for the child who was found Sunday morning hiding under a bed, at a neighbor’s home.
Police later arrested his parents when the family home was found to be unkept and the two kids, Bryson and his 8-year-old sister, appeared malnourished.
