UPDATE: 4/15/21: Weeks St. is now reopened, according to City of New Iberia officials.

ORIGINAL POST: NEW IBERIA, La (KLFY) — Weeks Street spanning from East Dale Street to Harriet Street is closed until further notice, according to a press release from New Iberia Mayor Freddie DeCourt.

Residents are asked to watch for road closure signs and alternate routes as well as be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
