UPDATE, 1/17/22, 11:44 a.m.: The victim in Sunday night’s homicide on Sterling St. has been identified by Lafayette Police as Warren Prejean, 32, of Lafayette.

ORIGINAL POST: LAFAYETTE, La. One person is dead after a shooting Sunday night in Lafayette.
According to police, officers responded to a shots fired call just after 9 p.m. in the 700 block of S. Sterling Street.
On arrival, police located an unidentified male victim who had been shot to death.
Their is no suspect information at this time.
