Teachers across America are finding new ways to celebrate Black History Month in their classrooms with some decorating their classroom doors to celebrate the cause.

One classroom door at Plaisance Elementary pays homage to black women rocking their natural curly hair, stylish head bands and their eyebrows on fleek or looking perfect.

Toward the base of the door are pictures of other African American women who have changed the world.

Every February, the nation honors the contributions African-Americans have made to help shape America.
