LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- The Lafayette Police Department is investigating the body of a man found in Heymann Park.

Officers were called roughly around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, LPD Cpl. Bridgette Dugas said.

Dugas said police are investigating the case as a suspicious death.
