UPDATE 2/29/20, 10 a.m.: Philip Dewoody, 53, of Opelousas, has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Joyce Thomas. He has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail. State Police confirm he will soon be transferred to Evangeline Parish. There is currently no information on the state of Joyce Thomas, nor is it clear if she knows Dewoody in any way.

Joyce Thomas has not been seen since Wednesday.
