Over in Estherwood, the Pontoon Bridge between Myers road and Clement road will be closed for a period of time on Thursday.
The DOTD says the bridge will be closed for for periods up to two hours between 8:30 a.m. and noon for routine bridge maintenance.
The detour will include US 90, LA 13, and I-10.
Detour signs will be posted.
