A Port Barre man is behind bars and is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl and having pictures of it.

Police say when the executed a search warrant for Donald James’ cellphones, they found pictures of child pornography and evidence that Hames was in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.

James was booked and charged with 7 counts of child pornography and 1 count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
