CROWLEY, La. (KLFY)- Investigators with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance with a 15-year-old cold case death of a newborn infant.

On March 5, 2003, a deceased newborn male was found floating in a drainage canal Northwest of Crowley off of Highway 13. The autopsy revealed the infant may have been in the water for up to five days before he was discovered. His race could not be determined.
