LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) Republic Services of Acadiana has announced a delay to the start of collection services until sunrise (6:00 a.m.) on Monday, June 1, 2020.

“This is as a nationwide, precautionary, safety directive from Republic Services corporate offices as it relates to the George Floyd protests,” Municipal Sales Manager Charles LaGrange said.

Normal Monday trash and recyclables should be set out for collection.
