JEFFERSON DAVIS PARISH, La. (KFLY)– A Roanoke man was charged with theft, forgery and bank fraud, authorities said.
According to a news release, Jonathan Paul Kratzer, 29, of Roanoke was arrested by deputies after receiving a report of a forged check cashed at Jeff Davis Bank.
A spokesperson with the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office told KLFY that Kratzer admitted to the theft of the check from a victim, forgery of the victim’s name on the check, and then cashing the $300 check at the bank.
Kratzer was charged with theft, forgery, and back fraud. He was booked into the Parish Jail without bond.
