An RV that was utilized as a home was destroyed in a fire in Scott.
Scott firefighters say were dispatched to a fire in the 200 blocks of Vatican Square Drive.
When they arrived, they said they saw the fire emitting from the recreational vehicle, which was being used as a home.
Firefighters were able to be the fire under control, but the RV was totally destroyed.
Scott firefighters say that the fire was accidental, and it was caused by a short in an electrical extension cord, which was plugged into a window air conditioning unit.
One firefighter received minor burns and is expected to make a full recovery, according to Scott Fire officials.
No one was in the RV at the time of the fire.
