Republican candidate  Ryan Bourriaque defeated fellow Republican Ruben “Ben” Rivera,   Louisiana’s 47th State Representative seat with 63% of the vote.

Bourriaque currently serves as the Cameron Parish Administrator for the Cameron Parish Police Jury.
