A SAFE containing a large amount of money and prescription medicine was stolen during a residential burglary last Friday night near the town of Egan.
In a press release, Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon says the incident happened in the 2000 block of Clement Road.
A cash reward is being offered by the homeowner for information and the arrest of the individuals responsible for committing the burglary.
