Sand and bags are available to the residents of Calcasieu Parish 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – only at the threat of severe weather warnings.

Sand bags for Franklin are available at the Public Works Complex, 1300 Iberia Street. Residents will have to fill their own bags. Sand and bags will be available in the front of the building. Please bring a shovel.
Residents must call 337-828-4100 ext 119 to be able to pick them up from either location in Franklin/Garden City or Bayou Vista.
