LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)– According to the Scott Police, the two subjects in the photos were identified within an hour of sending out a news release with the help of several tips called in.


SCOTT, La. (KLFY)— Scott Police are looking to identify two subjects caught on surveillance footage.

Authorities said the two subjects have been reported to be involved in an Instagram scam.

The scam involved money being sent through Western Union to purchase items. Once the money is sent, the victim is told that the items are no longer available and all contact with the victim is stopped, according to Scott Police.

A news release stated that the subjects were last seen at a grocery store on Cameron St. in Scott, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 31, at approximately 8 p.m.
