The following is a news release from the Scott Police Department:
During the evening and early morning hours of November 24th-26th 2016, the Scott Police Department received calls in reference to at least 3 burglaries of unlocked vehicles that occurred in the southern area of the city.
One of the homes’ security cameras was able to capture surveillance footage of the individuals who burglarized the vehicles.
The Scott Police Department believes the subjects captured by the footage were the same individuals were involved in all of the vehicle burglaries in the area during that time period.
The suspects appear to be in their late teens to early 20’s, black males; both subjects appear to be approximately 5’7 to 5’10” tall. Both have a slender build, one was wearing an LSU hoodie and dark pants and the other a camouflage short sleeve shirt over a light colored hoodie and dark pants.
Both men had their heads covered, making identification difficult. The Scott Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying these subjects. If you have any information that you believe will assist please contact The Scott Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 337-889-5104.
