By KLFY Brheanna Berry (8/17/15 10:30 p.m.):A brutal beating and robbery was all caught on video surveillance. A victim was attacked at a local gas station Friday night by two men who beat him several times even using a gas pump as one of the weapons. Now, the victim is saying his girlfriend set him up and she’s saying she had nothing to do with it.The incident happened at the Chevron gas station on Gloria Switch Road. Kirk Kleisner owns the store. He had just installed the cameras, and caught it all on video. “It was a horrible beating and we’ve never had trouble at that store before.”On Monday, Kleisner had the footage put on a hard drive for the Lafayette Police Department to help identify the suspects, but the story doesn’t stop there. Raul Ayala, the victim of the beating, says his girlfriend told men to do it and steal his money. “Me no breathing, Me no breathing and the people say they grab my wallet and run.”Ayala says he had just bought cigarettes at the gas station and sat down outside to smoke. That’s when two men jumped him, putting him in a choke hold and ripping off his shirt. He has several broken bones in his face, a fractured tooth and a concussion. He says his girlfriend Candy Supuis threatened to have men jump him, and steal his money. Her story is very different.Dupuis says, “No nothing, seven years we’ve been together.”Dupuis says she got a call from paramedics on Friday night saying her boyfriend was hurt. She says she was in shock, and she rushed to be by his side. Ayala says Saturday morning after being released from the hospital, a woman knocked on their door and told him that Dupuis had told her boyfriend to steal his money. That’s when he left the house for fear of his safety. Dupuis says she had no idea why he left their home. “He was getting in the truck, and I ain’t heard from him since. The cops came to get his belongings out of the house and that was the last time I talked to him.”

Ayala hasn’t had contact with Dupuis since Saturday morning.
