The controversial no-call in the Saints game with the Rams has made it to the Senate floor in D.C.
Louisiana senior Senator Doctor Bill Cassidy, still stinging from the Saints’ loss, made his case with photo displays showing the moment that Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman slammed into Saints receiver Tommylee Lewis.
For nearly seven minutes Cassidy laid out why a pass interference, or a helmet-to-helmet hit, should have been called.
He also called on the NFL to ensure the integrity of the game and answer questions about the no-call publicly.
