SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH until 10am for most of Acadiana. This means the atmosphere is conducive for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing 60 mph winds and quarter-sized hail.
Individual cells will continue to fire up out ahead of a main line of storms that will be working into Acadiana through the mid-morning hours. Main hazards with this line will be damaging wind gusts of 60 mph and quarter-sized hail. Isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
