UPDATE: Tonight, we’ve learned Logan raised the money he needed.
Someone also donated the limousine rental to him for prom night.
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – One local teen who was born with spina bifida is raising money for a limo for his prom date
Logan is a sophomore at Lafayette High School, him and Ali met through “The Dreams Foundation” an organization that offers activates and sports for special needs kids.
The rest was history, the two became great friends both on a competitive cheerleading squad outside of the school.
It was when Ali came up with a creative way to ask Logan to be her date for the senior prom. She made a sign that says, “Roses are red, Doritos are bomb, Logan will you be my date to prom?”
Logan said yes.
These two friends are full of life, Logan wants to give Ali a prom she’ll never forget, and that includes renting a limo.
Logan began selling lemonade after school to earn the money he needs for the limo. So far he’s been selling for two days,
“Two days and business is doing good.”
On the first day, Logan tells KLFY he was able to make over $40 out of the $500 he’s aiming for before the day of prom, May 7.
