“We encourage and support visual, literary and performing arts in Vermilion Parish.”
That’s the mission of the Vermilion Parish Arts Council, according to current board member and former president Tony Mayard.
“We are trying to get the community engaged and get the youth more involved,” said current VPAC President Megan Bertrand.
In 2018, the Vermilion Parish Arts Council brought that mission to life by giving back to schools, hosting numerous art exhibits, and concerts for everyone in Vermilion Parish to enjoy.
Their goal for 2019 is to continue to grow Vermilion Parish into a creative and cultural hub.
South Louisiana Giving Day is an opportunity for the Vermilion Parish Arts Council to share their vision with the people of Acadiana.
