St. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY)— St. Landry Parish School Board has decided to not renew the contract of Superintendent Edward Brown.
KLFY spoke with school board member Anthony Standberry and confirmed the reason for not renewing is low school performance scores.
The vote to not renew the contract was held May, 5 and was an 8-3 decision.
Superintendent Brown’s contract will remain in effect until December 2016.
