The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that they have found the body of 37-year-old Adrian Ford.

The Washington man had been missing since Saturday when his vehicle crashed into a bayou near Port Barre.

Authorities had been searching the Bayou Courtableau area around where the vehicle is said have gone into the bayou. 

According to the sheriff, a woman who said she was the girlfriend claimed Ford drove his vehicle into the bayou. She told deputies she escaped through the sunroof.

This is an ongoing investigation.
