Tyler Domingue was reported missing in May 2014 from St. Landry Parish.
Friday afternoon authorities believed to have found the vehicle she was last seen in.
Domingue was last seen on May 4th, 2014 by a relative at her home on highway 182 in Opelousas.

She dropped her son off at her mother’s house, left driving her gray 2004 Pontiac Grand Am and hasn’t been heard from since.
“We have been working on this case since May of 2014 when St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office notified us about Tyler Domingue being missing,” said Vermilion Parish Sheriff Mike Couvillon.
The vehicle was submerged in Bayou Tigre located off of St. Elmo’s Rd south of Delcambre and was recovered around 5pm.
“We had Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office divers team along with Lafayette Parish dive team with water patrol and within a couple of hours they felt what they thought was a vehicle, went down, figured out it was a vehicle and we retrieved the vehicle out the canal,” said Sheriff Couvillon.
Local, State, and Federal authorities have been investigating her disappearance for more than two years.
