SCOTT, La. (KLFY) Scott Police Department is asking for public assistance in identifying two suspects recording stealing a lawnmower for a carport.

On Wednesday, June 5th, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the suspects’ vehicle was captured on security cameras entering the carport of a residence in the 2800 block of W. Willow.

A black male and white female exit the vehicle and when they determine nobody inside the residence, they load the residents’ Husqvana riding lawn mower into the back of a gray Nissan Frontier with a temporary paper license plate attached to the bumper.

The vehicle was last seen leaving the residence and driving towards Mills St.
