The St. Landry-Evangeline Sexual Assault Center hosted a march to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault.
The “Take Back the Night Event” was in memory of Wade Batiste.
After the march, a candlelight vigil was held at the St. Landry Parish Courthouse.
The event focused on community engagement around the prevention and intervention of power-based violence.
