LAFAYETTE, La. (Leigh Guidry/The Advertiser)- The Lafayette Parish School Board intends to narrow the slate of superintendent candidates down to three or fewer Wednesday.

Last week board members received application packets for the nine candidates who have applied for the interim position, opening when current Superintendent Donald Aguillard retires May 17.
