BREAUX BRIDGE, La. (KLFY)– The City Wide Garage Sale returns to the Crawfish Capital of the World for the first weekend in October.

Thousands are expected this year over the span of Saturday and Sunday.

The President of the Breaux Bridge Garden Club and organizer of the event, Coatney Raymond said the garage sale has been going on for about 12-years and brings thousands of people into the Breaux Bridge for the weekend.

Raymond said he expects about 10,000 or even more people to come over the weekend.

Doors open at 8am and close 5pm and there will be plenty of parking along with things to see and buy.

Most vendors will accept cards but also bring cash as well.

Venders will be set up all throughout  Veterans Park and Downtown Breaux Bridge.

Food and music will also be some of the things featured over the weekend.

This event is family friendly and pets will also be welcomed.

Raymond also says this is a great way for people to replace things that they lost during the flood at an affordable price.
