Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has named a Lafayette businessmen as co-chair of his Louisiana campaign.
Trump, on Tuesday said in a press release that Tim Breaux of Lafayette will serve as the state’s co-chairman.
Breaux is the President/CEO of Ironhorse Development/Construction Company, Inc., a Lafayette based design-build company that he started in 2004.
He previously served as the Director of Community Development for Lafayette’s Consolidated Government for three administrations before retiring in 2004.
The Trump Louisiana campaign operation is being led by State Director Ryan Lambert.
Public Service Commissioner Eric Skrmetta and former State Representative Woody Jenkins will serve as State Chairmen. Jeff Crouere, Brian Trascher and Wayne Ryan will join Breaux as state co-chairs.
