Lafayette Police Department Public Information Officer Bridgette Dugas said Tuesday officers were investigating a shooting incident.

Police were called to the 1600 block of Moss Street around 4:45 p.m. for reports of shots heard.

According to Dugas, two people were found suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Both victims were transported by ambulance for medical treatment, Dugas said.
