Lafayette, LA – Nov. 14, 2018 – On Friday, Nov. 15, Uber Eats launches in Lafayette, offering food delivery at Uber speed with menus from restaurants including Bon Temps Grill, La Carreta, Pizza Artista, Cafe 20.3 and McDonald’s. 
 
The Uber Eats app is free to download and has been built specifically to make getting food “as easy as getting a ride” the company said. 
   
“With a vast network of Uber driver-partners already on the road in Lafayette, Uber Eats customers can count on fast delivery – with an average delivery time under 31 minutes after placing an order.” the company said in it’s announcement today.
  Through Uber Eats, driver-partners have access to even more flexible earning opportunities. 
 
For restaurant partners, Uber Eats effectively expands their capacity and reach to be able to serve a whole new network of potential customers, the company said.   
 
Uber Eats is available globally in more than 200 cities.
