LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- Campus police are investigating a purse snatching at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

The incident occurred inside of Burke-Hawthorne Hall, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a red shirt.

Police said he fled the area on foot.
