Both lanes of University Avenue near West Willow have been closed Saturday night following a major car crash along the roadway.

According to Lafayette Police, the crash was reported at 9:24 p.m.

There is a heavy police presence in the area.

As of 10 p.m. drivers are urged to seek alternate routes.
