A man fatally shot in New Iberia late Tuesday night, according to police.
Officials are still searching for the victim’s next of kin. The Iberia Parish Coroner’s Office said he is 50 years old.
Chief Todd D’Albor said the shooting happened just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night on Park Avenue at its intersection with Lee Street.
There are no suspects at this time, D’Albor said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
