ST LANDRY, La. (KLFY) –UPDATE: Gary Smith has been found, authorities said.
ORIGINAL: The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office needs the public assistance in locating a missing person.
On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, caller reported that her friend Gary Smith, 62, was last seen on January 16, 2019, at her home on Lone Pine Road in St Landry. The reporting person stated Smith “arrived unannounced and disoriented wearing jeans and a blue shirt. He appeared to have been lost”, the sheriff’s office said.

He did not have on any shoes and was not he wearing his dentures. The reporting person stated that Gary has suffered in the past from three strokes and a heart attack.
Smith is described as approximately 6’1, weighs about 140 pounds, brown hair with some grey, blue eyes and a fair skin tone. He was driving a 2018 Maroon Toyota Camry Louisiana with license plate #812BKG. .
Smith is originally from Walker and may have just come to visit.
