UPDATE: Capt. John Mowell, the Public Information Officer for the Lafayette Sheriff’s Office, has confirmed that 13 year old Courtland Ramsey has been located and is safe.  

ORIGINAL: Lafayette Parish Sheriff Deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating a 13-year-old boy last seen on Feb. 26 after he left his home on foot.

Courtland Ramsey was last seen walking in the area of Thompson Loop and Ole Colony Road near Ambassador Caffery Pkwy.

Detectives say he was wearing a navy blue polo shirt, khaki pants, black tennis shoes and a dark colored jacket tied around his waist.
