UPDATE: The seen has been found safe, authorities said.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile. 

According to detectives, Shawn Davis Smith is a 16 year old white male,  5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds.  Shawn has  blonde hair and  green eyes.  Shawn was last seen wearing  a school uniform from Buckeye High School on September 12th,  and may be in the Deville / Holloway area. 

Information obtained by detectives indicate Shawn may be attempting to go to the Shreveport area.
