JEFF DAVIS PARISH, La. (KLFY)- UPDATE: Javari Guidry, 23, of Houston, has been arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of aggravated burglary.

With his attorney, Guidry turned himself  in the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office just after 7 p.m. Thursday evening.

No bond has been set. 

ORIGINAL: Jordan Alexander Legros, 21, of Welsh, turned himself in to the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office Wednesday night. 

 Legros was booked on charges of aggravated burglary and two counts of first degree murder for the deaths of Walter Joseph Gotreaux and Darlene Cecelia Gotreaux on December 16, 2018 at their home.

Legros is being held without bond. 

“The second individual wanted for the murders, Javari Guidry, 23,  is still in hiding,” the department said. “He is considered armed and dangerous and a fugitive wanted for this heinous crime.”

The department said detectives are working with authorities in Louisiana and Texas to try and locate Guidry.
