UPDATE: The suspect responsible for the shooting death of 22-year-old Kenderick Flugence Jr. that occurred in the 2800 block of Louisiana Ave. on March 24, 2019 has been arrested.
According to Lafayette Police, 20-year-old Taveon Malik Leary of Lafayette surrendered to police Wednesday and was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on an active warrant for Second Degree Murder.
No bond was set.
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- A suspect is wanted in the shooting death of Kenderick Flugence Jr., 22, on Louisiana Avenue on May 24.
The suspect been identified as 20-year-old Taveon Malik Leary, of Lafayette.
A warrant for second degree murder has been issued for Leary.
The Lafayette Police Department wants to remind the public that anyone found to be aiding, preventing apprehension or harboring Leary will be placed under arrest for the appropriate offense upon his capture.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Leary is urged to call the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
