2nd UPDATE: The second person involved in the 4 wheeler crash in the community of Evangeline has died, Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P Gibson annouced in a press release.

According to Gibson, Patrick Daigle passed away Saturday.

UPDATE:  According to Sheriff KP Gibson, the victims involved in the crash were Joey Richard and Patrick Daigle.

Richard was pronounced dead at the scene and Daigle was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

ACADIA PARISH, La. (KLFY)- One man has been pronounced dead in an ATV crash in the 1200 block of St. Jules Road, according to Sheriff KP Gibson.

Deputies responded to the crash at about 4:30 he said. A second male victim is in critical condition.

Deputies are still investigating, but deputies believe the driver lost control of the vehicle on highway 97 and it flipped.
