LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – A victim of a shooting that happened in downtown Lafayette last month has died from his injuries.

According to Corporal Paul Mouton, Kalie Cormier of Rayne died Sunday after being in critical condition since the shooting, which took place near Shakers night club in the early morning hours of July 17, 2016.

The two other victims in the shooting were treated and released the following day.

Police are still searching for the suspect in this fatal shooting.
