LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)—The Local non-profit community organization, TownFolk Inc. created by the LaPlace Neighborhood, announced plans for its annual free festival.
That’s according to a news release. “Victory Garden” was created in honor of founding TownFolk member, Jillian Johnson.
A spokesperson for the organization said TownFold and Gallery 333 are presenting the 2nd annual Victory Festival on October 8 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The event will include an art show, silent auction, food trucks, kids’ activities, adult beverages, merchandise and live music, according to the spokesperson.
Victory Garden will take place at Gallery 333 on the corner of Monroe Street and Second Street.
Artwork will be centered around this year’s theme, “Victory is Ours: Making Peace”.
