UPDATE, 4/5/21: News 10 has confirmed that there were three people shot in Hope Park on Sunday night. Two are listed as juveniles and the third is an adult.

Police Chief Neal Lartigue said all three victims are in stable condition this morning. Several people of interest have been identified but Lartigue said he cannot release any further information at this time as the incident is under investigation.

Lartigue requests that anyone who has information regarding the shootings at Hope Park on the night of Easter should contact the Ville Platte Police Department at (337) 363-1316. Your call will remain anonymous.   

ORIGINAL POST: VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) — Two people were shot Sunday night at Hope Park in Ville Platte.

It happened after dark Easter Sunday, according to police.

Both victims were transported to local hospitals where their conditions remain unknown.
